in vouchers and prizes.
Each week we offer amateur golfers around Australia the opportunity to win up to $1,000 in cash vouchers
To participate, all you have to do is have a valid Golf Link number, register for a game on the SpinGolf site and play in a regulated club competition; we will do the rest. All players are graded by handicap and placed into a weekly competition pool. Scores are then compared against other competitors in the same pool to determine winners.
We reward the highest scoring individuals from each pool with prize money that can be used on:
Gift vouchers from a range of leading retailers and golf clubs
Golf Gear from major golf manufacturers such as Taylormade, Titleist and Wilson Golf
Additional entries to SpinGolf competitions
In addition to winning in the weekly SpinGolf competition, we also offer monthly prize draws for all competitors simply for entering each week. Check out this months prize.
To determine the SpinGolf winners, we rank each player by the difference between their 'played to' score and 'daily handicap' as recorded on Golf Link. This difference multiplied by 1,000 represents your SpinGolf score. The higher your SpinGolf score, the more chance you have of winning.
If you play more than once in any given week, we will calculate which round gives you your best score and include that as your entry into the SpinGolf competition. This process ensures that you have multiple opportunities to improve your score and win weekly prizes.
Upon entering a SpinGolf competition, each player is placed into a pool of up to 300 other SpinGolf competitors within the same grade (for details on grading see our FAQs). At the end of each competition week, we compare each player’s best SpinGolf score that week against other competitors in the same pool to determine the winners. Once each pool is full (300 players), we will open up a new pool for the same grade. The more people in each pool, the more prizes awarded.
See our scoring example below or visit our Help page for more information.
Player: John Smith
Competition Round: 5th January 2015 – 11th January 2015
In the example above, we would take John’s best score through the playing week of +1,990 points and compare that score against competitors in the same grade as John to determine winners (for more details see our Help page).
We also offer great discounts if you purchase multiple entries. Better still, you can set up repeat payments to ensure you're covered at all times.
